Provincial Champions

The 2022 Provincial Championships for the NB Central Hockey League U18 was held in Petitcodiac and Riverview from March 31 to April 3.

AA CONFERENCE

In the AA Conference, the teams competing were Dieppe/Memramcook Aigles, Fredericton Lions, Hampton Bulldogs, Lewisville Lightniing, Petitcodiac/Salisbury Flyers and York North Coyotes.

After the round robin series,the top 3 ranked teams were:

Petitcodiac/Salisbury Flyers
Fredericton Lions
Hampton Bulldogs

 
Fredericton Lions beat Hampton Bulldogs 5 - 2 in the Semi-Final to adavance to the Final against Petitcodiac/Salisbury Flyers

The Final game opposing the Fredericton Lions and the Petitcodiac/Salisbury Flyers was in Petitcodiac on Sunday April 3.
 Petitcodiac/Salisbury Flyers won the game 4-3 in the 2nd overtime period and are the AA Champions for the 2021/2022 season
 

A CONFERENCE

Seven teams competed in the A Conference; Fredericton UCT Blues, Kennebecasis Valley Hawks, Kent Center Bears, Lancaster Thunder, Miramichi Wild, Riverview Blues and Shediac/Cap-Pelé Prédateurs

Shediac/Cap-Pelé Prédateurs met Riverview Blues in the Final game on Sunday, April 3rd at the Byron Dobson Arena in Riverview. The Shediac/Cap-Pelé Prédateurs 
won the game by a score of 8 - 2   and are the A Champions for the 2021/2022 season.
 

B CONFERENCE

Six teams competed in the B Conference; Bathurst Flames, Kent Sud Flames, Moncton Hawks, Oromocto Eagles, River Valley Renegades and the Saint John Sea Dogs.

After the round robin series,the top 3 ranked teams were:

Moncton Hawks
Bathurst Flames
Kent Sud Flames

 
 Bathurst Flames beat  Kent Sud Flames 7 - 5 in the Semi-Final to advance to the Final against the Moncton Hawks

The Final game was in Riverview on Sunday April 3.
 The  Bathurst Flames won the game 5-2 and are the B Champions for the 2021/2022 season
